Paris Hometown Hero: Priscilla McAnally
We would like for you to meet this week’s Hometown Hero: Priscilla McAnally!
Although she is a California native, Priscilla grew up here in Paris, Texas. “It is a lovely place to live and has some very interesting people,” she says. Here, she made some of the best friends anyone could ever have. Her love of this community grew from all of the lifelong friends she has made while living here.
The Paris Public Library couldn’t ask for a better director, and, according to Priscilla, she couldn’t have asked for a better place to work. She describes being the director of our local library as her greatest professional accomplishment. “I’m fortunate enough to be the director of the best library and staff in the state— no, in the world!” she claims.
Among her personal accomplishments, Priscilla is proud of earning her Master’s in Library Science from the University of North Texas. She is also proud of making it through her life so far without gaining a visible scar!
In her free time, Priscilla enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
